Class 1 - Jr. Wethers (or soon to be wethers): Under 3 months

No entries

Class 2 - Jr. Wethers: 3 to under 6 months

Entry #2 ~ Points Earned = 1.5
Rising S Nitro ~ Owned by Rising S Ranch (Ogden, UT) ~ DOB: 06-02-16 ~ DOLP: 07-25-16
Judge's comments: In this class of Jr wethers 3-6 months, I am placing this black and white wether in first place. He is excelling above the class in style and balance. This wether is very long bodied with nice muscling throughout for his body structure. This wether is lacking pigment which I would like to fault him for especially as he is a wether and possibly going to be kept as a pet and some studies have shown that they can be susceptible to papillomas. At this time, however, there is no description for points off for lack of pigment, so his placing will stand. Very nice kid.

Entry #1 ~ Points Earned = 1.0
Triple-T Hot Pocket ~ Owned by Courtney Teichert (Ramona, CA) ~ DOB: 02-25-15 ~ DOLP: 07-31-16
Judge's comments: This brown tri will be my second place. He is winning over the third place goat for his width from thigh to thigh, length and width of twist and he also has more forearm muscling and shows a straighter leg conformation in the photos being judged.

Entry #3 ~ Points Earned = 0.5
Bucking Adoeable Sy-Klone ~ Owned by The Cracked Egg (Ramona, CA) ~ DOB: 03-12-16 ~ DOLP: 08-02-16
Judge's comments: This wether in third place has a nice width between the horn set. He is showing nice depth of body and is showing good width of body. This wether would benefit by some better pictures. When viewing him on the profile in this picture with his body bent towards the camera it gives the impression of a short body and makes him dip in the chine area. He also looks hocky in the rear photo and that could be he is taking a step while bending; however, we need to judge on the pics in front of us.

Class 3 - Jr. Wethers: 6 to under 9 months

Entry #2 ~ Points Earned = 1.0
Triple-T Blue Rayn ~ Owned by The Cracked Egg (Ramona, CA) ~ DOB: 12-11-15 ~ DOLP: 08-02-16
Judge's comments: I am starting this class with this grey wether. This wether has a deeper wider body than the wether below him in second and he stands wider front and rear. Although he does look steep in the rump in this picture, if I moved his hind legs into place and dropped the plumb line down, he would not have too steep of a hip structure to win this class.

Entry #1 ~ Points Earned = 0.5
Bucking Adoeable Mordu ~ Owned by The Cracked Egg (Ramona, CA) ~ DOB: 10-30-15 ~ DOLP: 08-02-16
Judge's comments: This wether would benefit by being judged with better photos. For example, he stands base narrow in these photos.

Class 4 - Jr. Wethers: 9 to under 12 months

Entry #1 ~ Points Earned = 1.0
Rising S Handsome Jack ~ Owned by Rising S Ranch (Ogden, UT) ~ DOB: 10-01-15 ~ DOLP: 09-17-16
Judge's comments: This brown and white wether will be my 1st place. This wether is a very balanced wether and very pleasing to the eye. He has good width from front to back and a deep body. He has a good shoulder structure and nice muscling. Very nice show condition on this guy.

Entry #2 ~ Points Earned = 0.5
Bucking Adoeable Joe DiMaggio ~ Owned by Bucking Adoeable Fainters (Ramona, CA) ~ DOB: 11-24-14 ~ DOLP: 10-16-15
Judge's comments: This wether needs better pictures to be competitive.

Judge's comments: This brown and white wether will be my Jr Champion. These two wethers are two different types of wethers and both deserving of a championship title.
